How my creative journey began
I've always been a creative soul, right from childhood. My artistic journey started with making basic jewellery in college, which evolved into crafting both jewellery and clothing. The inspiration for my current jewellery line struck after I discovered a freshly formed monarch butterfly chrysalis in my backyard, it looked like a jewel glistening in the sun and I thought it would make a beautiful necklace. I got so many compliments on the one I made for myself, I decided to put them out into the world and here we are eight years later!

What makes my work special is the dedication put into each creation. Every piece is crafted by hand, infused with love and intention. I strive to make the butterfly pieces as lifelike as possible, capturing their delicate beauty. It brings me so much joy to create these beautiful pieces for my customers, and I hope they'll cherish them for a lifetime.
A little about Lisa Joy
I'm fortunate to live in the stunning Taranaki region of New Zealand. I'm a mother to three, have a little menagerie of rescue animals and a small property where I enjoy growing my own fruit and vegetables. I'm a sky and moon gazer, nature lover and book geek. I'm passionate about natural health and slow living. I'm forever evolving and this is often reflected in my work.
